Jacob Kenner started his yoga journey when he took his first formal class which was offered at his office. One class a week soon expanded to two classes. Yoga helped with the stresses of work and life. First it brought peace during class. The techniques then expanded to more of his life. It was a transformation of body and mind, both for the better. With encouragement and guidance from his great instructors, Connie Werner and Ellen Niedringhaus, he started his teacher certification training mid-2012. Jacob is a Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher (RYT 200). He studied for his certification with Mitchel Bleier and Brigette Niedringhaus in 2012, and he is continuing his formal studies with Noah Mazé
Jacob focuses on safe, proper alignment, with strong attention on the breath and the flow of the body among the forms. Everyone can do yoga, no matter what type of body you have. Your yoga might not be like the yoga of the person next to you, but it's yours, and you are beautiful, right now. Jacob wants everyone to find the peace and acceptance that yoga can bring to life.
When not practicing yoga, Jacob likes to run long distances, tend his bee hives, train animals, and play with his family.
