Namaste, friends and welcome to my page. A little about me...
For starters, I found my personal yoga practice in 2007 after seeking a change from my high intensity, high impact workouts and busy lifestyle. Recently, I decided to take the plunge from Corporate America to full time yogi and devote all of my time to studying, practicing and teaching yoga. In October of 2013, I received my 200-hour yoga certification under the guidance of Chris Yonker, Sat Inder S. Khalsa and Jennifer Jones at YogaSource in Saint Louis, MO.
My classes range from open levels, to challenging Vinyasa flow, to nourishing restorative and blends physical alignment, core strength, breath awareness and conscious intention to promote ease and stability in each pose. In addition to teaching in a studio and giving my students private sessions, I have started studying the effects and benefits that yoga has on athletes and those who live a very yang oriented lifestyle. My hopes are to assist these individuals with injury prevention, recovery time, flexibility, breath awareness, mental control and much more.
My goal is to help my students find and maintain a strong and balanced mind and body, teaching them to take their practice off of the mat and into the world.
